Founded by Takayuki Shibata in 2007, Masakage knives are a bespoke collection crafted by several different blacksmiths in the Echizen region. He recruited some of the best forgers and knifemakers in the region to showcase their skills, and leveraged his own sharpening expertise to give them exceedingly sharp edges.
