Ashi Hamono

Founded in 1948 by Hiroshi Ashi in Sakai, Osaka — Japan's knife-making capital — Ashi Hamono has built a serious reputation over the decades for producing some of the most precise, high-performance blades out there. They're well known for their incredibly thin, lightly convex blades that glide through food like nothing else. These pieces are crafted by Ashi, and signed by Sakai Kikumori.
