A Great, Lifelong Cooking Investment

Over the years, I've spent a lot of time slicing onions for French Onion Soup, cabbages for Sauerkraut and winter vegetables for an elevated version of Ratatouille. But, all of that slicing takes a lot of time and effort that, luckily, is now done by this Japanese Mandolin and life is much easier. I'm now wondering what else I can use it for and how I can use the different attachments.
