Love Takamura knives!!

Bought the Petty VG10 for a friend, based on having 2 cromax and one VG10 knives that I use constantly...with respect. They are super sharp from factory and are readily returned to that state after 5-10 min using 1000/3000 grit sharpening stones once every 3-6 months.

Fantastic Knife

Amazing knife. I use it daily and it suits any task (as a petty should). Edge retention is great and is insanely sharp out of the box. With daily use for a month I have yet to sharpen it and have only maintained it with a strop. I highly recommend for both professionals and home cooks.
